Policy Statements
Event Participation:
- Only member schools are permitted to participate in WCCSE events. To become a member, please fill out the registration form and mail with payment to contact information listed on the form.
- Membership fee is charged per district. Team registrations are determined based on the parameters set by event coordinators.
- Schools must pay in full for membership to the WCCSE. Pro-rated or a la carte payments are not accepted.
Membership:
- All members agree to support the event coordinator's decisions.
- WCCSE funds cannot be used to purchase food.
Nurse Coverage at events:
- WCCSE does NOT provide nurse coverage at events. Please be aware and attentive to the needs of your students.
- Medications including Epi-pens must be accompanied by trained delegates or nurse.
- All school groups must follow state medication guidelines.
Events:
- ALL Events are NUT FREE (Peanuts/tree nuts). Coordinators, please include this in all paperwork and registrations.
- Students attending WCCSE events MUST be accompanied by school staff member. This includes all evening events: a staff member from each school must be present. Please alert event coordinators if there are possible conflicts.
- All student helpers MUST be supervised by school staff.
- Parent presence at events shall be determined by event coordinators and detailed in registration forms.
- No video taping or live streaming is allowed at WCCSE events.
- Photos are only allowed of your own district students.
